Thanksgiving Dinner at SNL
Giving Thanks Together as a Family
Every Thanksgiving season, our team transforms the Saturday Night Lights (SNL) program in Mariners Harbor into a community celebration of gratitude.
Recognizing that some families face food insecurity during the holiday break, we partnered with Aunt Butchie’s of Brooklyn to provide a full Thanksgiving meal for our participants and their families.
This event is hosted by our long-time community partner Shootin’ School Basketball, whose leadership and generosity make the SNL program such a special experience.
Players, parents, and friends gather to eat, laugh, and share the holiday spirit with delicious food, heartfelt conversations, and plenty of take-home meals (“doggie bags”) for later.
It’s a beautiful day that embodies what our nonprofit stands for: community, compassion, and connection.
Thank You
We extend our deepest gratitude to Aunt Butchie’s of Brooklyn, Shootin’ School Basketball, our volunteers, and our board for their continued generosity and support.
